VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) 8 – CD key (lifetime / unlimited devices)

VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) 8 is a hypervisor that installs directly on the server, with no intermediate operating system. It turns a physical machine into a base able to host several independent virtual machines: a file server, an application server, a test environment, each with its own system and its own resources. This licence is with no time limit and no restriction on the number of devices.

What ESXi 8 allows

• Hardware consolidation — replace several underused servers with virtual machines hosted on a single piece of hardware.
• Strict isolation — a crash or compromise in one virtual machine stays confined to it.
• Resource allocation — cores, RAM and disk space defined and modifiable per machine.
• Web administration interface — full control from a browser, with no client software to install.
• Snapshots and cloning — capture a machine's state before an update and roll back in a few seconds if needed.

Compatibility

64-bit x86 servers validated by VMware for generation 8, with a processor supporting hardware virtualisation. Version 8 removed support for certain older storage controllers and network cards: check the compatibility list before installing on hardware that is several years old.
