The Last of Us Part I is the complete rebuild of Naughty Dog's action-adventure game, reconstructed on the engine of The Last of Us Part II. This is not a mere graphical polish: models, animations, lighting, physics and enemy artificial intelligence have all been redone. You follow Joel, a smuggler marked by loss, tasked with conveying Ellie, fourteen, across a United States ravaged by a fungal infection. The narrative builds slowly, over the seasons, up to an ending that has lastingly marked the medium.
What awaits you
- Tense and rare combat — ammunition is scarce, stealth is often the only reasonable choice.
- Varied infected enemies — runners, blind clickers that track by sound, fearsome bloaters.
- Real-time crafting — make healing items, makeshift bombs and blades without pausing the game.
- Attentive exploration — abandoned places to search for resources, parts and documents.
- Left Behind DLC included — the chapter devoted to Ellie's past is part of this edition.
