Sid Meier's Civilization VII – Steam Key

Sid Meier's Civilization VII is the latest instalment in Firaxis Games' great turn-based strategy series. The principle remains the one that built the franchise's reputation: guiding a people from antiquity to the modern era, founding cities, exploring, researching technologies and dealing with other leaders. This instalment, however, reworks the game's structure by dividing it into distinct ages, each transition prompting a recomposition of your empire and its priorities, which limits games won in advance from the very first turns.

What awaits you

• Game split into ages — sharp breaks that reshuffle the deck rather than a continuous curve to the end.
• Leader and civilisation separated — you choose the leader and the people separately, which multiplies the possible combinations.
• Cities and districts — urban development that draws on the terrain and surrounding resources.
• Diplomacy and war — treaties, alliances, casus belli and military campaigns on a hexagonal map.

System requirements

Windows 10 or 11 PC in 64-bit. Reckon on a recent quad-core processor, 16 GB of RAM and a dedicated mid-range graphics card. As is often the case in strategy games, it is the late game, with many cities and units to calculate, that most taxes the processor. Allow for several tens of gigabytes of disk space.
