This listing is for Windows 11 Home with a Retail licence for 1 PC. Unlike an OEM key, a Retail licence can be removed from one computer and reactivated on another, and it can carry over a motherboard replacement.
Check your hardware first
Windows 11 needs a TPM 2.0 chip, Secure Boot and a 64-bit processor on Microsoft's compatibility list. Without all three, installation is refused. Run Microsoft's PC Health Check tool before ordering, as this is the most common cause of problems.

A licence that moves with you
A Retail key is not bound to the hardware: when you change computer, deactivate it on the old one and activate it on the new one. An OEM key stays linked to its original motherboard. The system features are the same either way.

Enter the key under Settings › System › Activation › Change product key, then link the licence to your Microsoft account to simplify reactivation after a hardware change.
