Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2016 – Activation Key (1 PC)

This listing is for Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2016, a licence for 1 PC. LTSC stands for Long-Term Servicing Channel: the system is intentionally kept fixed and receives security patches only, with no new features and no interface redesigns. It is meant for machines that need to stay exactly the same for years.

How an LTSC edition differs

• No feature updates. Menus, interface and system components stay as they were at release, so line-of-business software is not at risk from an unexpected change.
• No Microsoft Store apps. There is no Store, no consumer Cortana and no Photos, Mail or Xbox apps; only the components the system needs.
• No Microsoft Edge. LTSC 2016 comes with Internet Explorer 11, so install a modern browser yourself if you need one.
• Enterprise feature set. BitLocker, AppLocker, Credential Guard, DirectAccess, BranchCache, incoming Remote Desktop, Hyper-V, domain join and Group Policy.

Where it fits

Typical uses are machine tools, controllers, medical equipment, cash registers, information displays and laboratory workstations, wherever a feature update would be a risk. For an ordinary office PC, a Pro or standard Enterprise edition is a better match.
