ESET NOD32 Antivirus in a 180-day licence for 1 PC is a short plan, useful for covering a computer for six months: a repair machine, a lent computer, or simply to try the ESET engine before committing to a longer duration. It is the antivirus on its own: no firewall, no anti-spam, no parental control, unlike the Internet Security editions. The key is of the global type, with no regional restriction.
What the protection includes
- Real-time scanning — every file opened, downloaded or copied from a USB stick is checked before execution.
- ThreatSense heuristics — behavioural detection of threats that do not yet appear in the signature databases.
- Web protection and anti-phishing — blocks malicious sites and pages that imitate a legitimate service.
- Exploit blocking — protects browsers and document readers against the exploitation of their vulnerabilities.
- Removable media scanning — automatic checking of USB sticks and external drives when they are plugged in.
- Minimal impact — the ESET engine is designed not to slow down older machines.
Compatibility
Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7 (SP1), 32 and 64-bit, on a single machine. Global key: it is not limited to a particular geographic area and works from Switzerland. Internet connection required for activation and definition updates.
