Black Myth: Wukong is the action-RPG developed by Game Science, loosely inspired by the novel Journey to the West. You play the Destined One, a monkey armed with a staff, who faces the demons and fallen deities of a universe drawn from Chinese mythology. The game stands out for the quality of its staging, the density of its boss fights and an artistic direction nourished by traditional architecture and statuary.
What awaits you
- Staff combat in three stances — each with its combos, its range and its charged attacks.
- Transformations — take on the form of defeated creatures to access their attacks for the duration of a fight.
- Set of spells — immobilisation, clones, concealment techniques to equip depending on the boss.
- A succession of bosses — most of the game's difficulty and interest lies in these duels.
- Varied environments — chapters crossing mountains, temples, deserts and forests, each with its secrets.
- RPG progression — skill trees, armour crafting and staff upgrades.
