Adobe Substance 3D Painter 2024 is the reference software for texturing an object in three dimensions. Instead of painting on a flat image that would then have to be mapped onto the model, you paint directly onto the object displayed in real time, as on a physical mock-up. The result is obtained in a few minutes where manual texturing used to take hours. The subscription covers 12 months.
What Substance 3D Painter 2024 offers
- Real-time 3D painting — every brushstroke appears immediately on the model, under the final lighting.
- Smart effects — rust settles in the recesses, paint chips on the edges, dust accumulates on horizontal surfaces, automatically.
- Layer system — non-destructive masks, groups and generators: you can go back to any step.
- Physical rendering — preview matching the final render thanks to the built-in Iray engine and HDR environments.
- Export to engines — presets ready for Unreal Engine, Unity, Arnold, V-Ray, Blender and Redshift.
- High resolutions — working and exporting up to 4K, with the option to change resolution at any time.
