Total War: Three Kingdoms — Eight Princes is a campaign pack for Total War: Three Kingdoms, the Chinese instalment of the Creative Assembly series. It moves the action after the Three Kingdoms period, at the beginning of the Jin dynasty, when eight princes of the same family tear each other apart for control of the empire. The principle remains that of the series: a turn-based campaign map for management and diplomacy, real-time battles to settle disputes.
What awaits you
- Eight related factions — all the princes belong to the same dynasty, which gives the civil war a particular family dimension.
- Turn-based campaign — commanderies, economy, reforms and unstable alliances.
- Real-time battles — infantry, cavalry, bows and heroic generals, with the duel system specific to Three Kingdoms.
- Characters and relationships — the lords have traits, ambitions and grudges that influence diplomacy.
