Total War: Rome II — Caesar in Gaul is a campaign pack for Total War: Rome II, the strategy game from Creative Assembly. It does not offer a new map of the whole world, but a tighter and much more detailed map of Gaul in the years 58 to 51 BC, at the time of Julius Caesar's campaign. The pace is more tense than in the main campaign: the turns represent a shorter duration, distances count and each winter weighs on the armies.
What awaits you
- Detailed map of Gaul — more regions and relief on a reduced territory, which makes each province contested.
- Four playable sides — Rome, the Arverni, the Suebi and the Nervii, with their own objectives and units.
- Tighter pace — a shorter turn system that accentuates the weight of the seasons and logistics.
- Real-time battles — Roman legions against Gallic and Germanic coalitions, with formations, terrain and morale.
