Starfield is the open-world role-playing game from Bethesda Game Studios, creator of Skyrim and Fallout, which transposes its formula into space. You start as a simple miner before being recruited by Constellation, an organisation of explorers in search of artefacts of unknown origin. The game then leaves you very free: follow the main storyline, commit to a faction, trade, hunt bounties, loot wrecks or simply set off to explore the star systems aboard your ship.
What awaits you
- Large-scale exploration — star systems and numerous planets to visit, between hand-built cities and generated expanses.
- Customisable ship — a complete builder that lets you assemble your vessel module by module.
- Combat on the ground and in space — varied firearms, special abilities and ship duels with power management.
- Factions with distinct campaigns — rangers, pirate fleet, corporations and intelligence services, each with its own quest line.
