RimWorld Royalty is the first official expansion for RimWorld, the colony simulation by Ludeon Studios. It introduces an interstellar Empire settled on the planet, with which your colonists can negotiate, ally or come into conflict. Your characters earn noble titles by completing quests for this faction: the privileges and military support obtained come with demands for comfort and accommodation befitting their rank.
What this expansion includes
- Imperial title system — a hierarchy of ranks to climb, with favours to exchange for support.
- Psychic powers — mental abilities to unlock, from remote healing to manipulating the enemy, powered by a reserve of psychic energy.
- Expanded quest system — missions generated with variable objectives, rewards and constraints.
- New building content — noble furniture, dedicated structures and decoration requirements tied to titles.
- Mechanoid and siege mechanics — new threats and new ways to defend the colony.
