Ready or Not is a tactical first-person shooter developed by VOID Interactive. You lead a SWAT team on high-risk interventions: hostage situations, barricaded suspects, searches. The game is deliberately slow and methodical — you open a door after observing it, you announce your presence, you attempt surrender before firing, and a single bullet can end the mission.
What awaits you
- Methodical progression — slide a mirror under a door, plant a charge, use tear gas or a flashbang before entering.
- Team command — give precise orders to four AI teammates: cover an angle, cuff a suspect, clear a room.
- Rules of engagement — order suspects to surrender, secure civilians, avoid needless fire: the end-of-mission scoring takes this into account.
- Weapon realism — marked recoil, magazine management, armour and ammunition that pass through partitions.
- Co-operation for up to five players — the game comes into its own with a coordinated human team.
- Varied missions — houses, motels, warehouses, schools, each with several possible entry points.
