This listing is for Microsoft Outlook 2019 on its own, as a one-off purchase for 1 PC. It brings your e-mail accounts, calendar, contacts and tasks together in an application installed on your computer, which you can use even when you are offline.
What you can do with it
- Multiple accounts together: Exchange, Microsoft 365, IMAP and POP, with an optional unified inbox.
- Business calendar: meetings, invitations, attendee availability, and shared or overlaid calendars.
- Contacts: detailed records, distribution groups and a history of exchanges.
- Tasks and reminders: follow-up flags on messages and a task list synchronised with the calendar.
- Focused Inbox: messages judged important are kept apart from the regular flow.
- @mentions and quick replies: tag a colleague directly in the body of a message.
- .pst archives: keep old messages locally and browse them later.
New in the 2019 version
Outlook 2019 offers Focused Inbox, one-click access to recent attachments, faster search, read-aloud for messages and a calendar that suggests meeting locations. Because it is a one-off-purchase edition, its features stay as they are; unlike the Outlook that comes with a Microsoft 365 subscription, it does not gain new ones over time.
Good to know before you order
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- 1.6 GHz dual-core processor and 4 GB of RAM
- 4 GB of free disk space
- Internet connection for activation and account synchronisation
