Kaspersky Small Office Security in the 5 devices, 1 server and 5 mobile devices for 1 year version is aimed at very small organisations: a practice, workshop, agency or independent office. Unlike family licences, it includes protection of a file server and an online management console, without requiring an administration server or systems engineer skills.
What the protection includes
- Five workstations — real-time antivirus, firewall and blocking of fraudulent sites on each computer.
- One file server — protection of the shared storage, where the company's documents are concentrated.
- Anti-ransomware — monitors attempts to encrypt network shares and halts them.
- Five mobile devices — Android antivirus, anti-theft and checking of installed apps.
- Secure payment — protected browser for online banking and supplier payments.
- Encryption and backup — safeguarding of sensitive files and restoration after an incident.
- Web console — device status, remote deployment and centralised alerts.
Compatibility
Workstations running Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7 (SP1) and macOS; server running Windows Server in the supported versions; mobiles running Android. An Internet connection is required for the management console and antivirus database updates.
Activation
The activation key reaches you by email within 24 hours at the most. Open the Kaspersky Small Office Security console, add the key, then deploy the software to the workstations, the server and the mobiles concerned. The 12-month period starts at first activation.
