Drive Beyond Horizons is an open-world driving and survival game with a road-trip focus. The principle: set off in an old car on a road that never ends, maintain the vehicle piece by piece, manage fuel and resupplying and get as far as possible. The driving is not a racing simulation but a permanent constraint: the mechanics wear out, parts break and you have to know where and when to stop.
What awaits you
- Detailed mechanical maintenance — parts to dismantle, replace or repair yourself, from the engine to the tyres.
- Resource management — fuel, money, spare parts and the driver's needs to balance over time.
- Continuously generated road — petrol stations, stops, villages and encounters dot a journey that extends as you drive.
- Salvaging and tinkering — searching wrecks and abandoned places to bring back enough to hold out until the next stop.
- Slow and contemplative pace — the game relies on the atmosphere of the road and patient progression rather than on action.
