Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is the best-received expansion for Bungie's online shooter. Savathûn, the Hive queen, has stolen the Light and distributed it to her Lucent Brood. You set off to investigate her Throne World, a swamp-vessel with the look of an organic cathedral, to understand how she pulled it off. It is additional content that adds to Destiny 2, whose base game is free.
What awaits you
- Legendary difficulty campaign — a very well-received investigative storyline, playable in standard mode or in a considerably more demanding version with better rewards.
- The Throne World — a brand-new destination, blending marsh, ruins and Hive architecture, riddled with secrets.
- Weapon crafting — forge and shape your weapons by choosing their perks, a system introduced by this expansion.
- Void 3.0 subclass — a complete overhaul of Void powers with fragments and aspects to combine freely.
- Vow of the Disciple raid — a six-player activity centred on symbols and communication, considered one of the best in the game.
What this edition includes
- The The Witch Queen expansion: campaign, Throne World, weapon crafting and the Vow of the Disciple raid.
- The base game Destiny 2 is not included: its free version can be downloaded directly from Steam.
