Chernobylite is a survival and adventure game from the Polish studio The Farm 51, set in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, recreated from three-dimensional scans of the real locations. You play Igor, a former physicist at the plant, back on site to find his fiancée who disappeared thirty years earlier. The game blends first-person exploration, elements of supernatural horror, survival and base management, with a day-based structure: each morning, you choose where to go and who to send on missions.
What awaits you
- A believable exclusion zone — Pripyat and its surroundings scanned from the real locations, with radiation and anomalies.
- Camp management — building workbenches, air purifiers and bunks, managing supplies and the morale of your companions.
- Daily expeditions — choosing your destination and delegating missions to your allies, with the risk of failure.
- Stealth or combat — avoiding patrols or taking them on, bearing in mind that ammunition is scarce.
