Battlefield 6 is the new instalment in Electronic Arts' military shooter series, centred on what defines the franchise: large-scale multiplayer clashes where infantry, armour, helicopters and aircraft operate on the same map at the same time. The environments are largely destructible, classes structure team play and a match is rarely won solo: resupplying, reviving and capturing strongpoints count as much as shooting accuracy.
What awaits you
- Large-scale battles — many players per map, with land and air vehicles integrated into the combat.
- Class system — assault, support, engineer and scout, each with a role essential to the squad.
- Environmental destruction — walls breached, buildings collapsing, cover disappearing mid-match.
- Squad play — respawn on teammates, reviving, ammunition resupply and vehicle repair.
