The Forest, developed by Endnight Games, is one of the most striking survival games of its generation. As the apparent sole survivor of your plane crash, you set out to find your son on a peninsula covered in forests. The game alternates between two very different moods: daytime survival, almost contemplative, where you fell trees, build and hunt; and the night, or the depths of the caves, where a tribe of mutant cannibals turns the experience into a horror game.
What awaits you
- Precise building system — shelters, treehouses, palisades, bridges and traps assembled log by log.
- Enemy intelligence — the cannibals watch your camp, hesitate, regroup and adapt their aggression to yours.
- Caves to explore — oppressive underground networks that hold the most useful equipment and the thread of the story.
- Demanding survival — hunger, thirst, fatigue, cold and healing to manage continuously.
- Online co-op — the entire adventure is playable with others.
