Monster Hunter: World is the hunting action-RPG developed by Capcom that carried the series to the Western audience. As a member of an expedition sent to the New World, you track giant creatures across open, living regions and you progress solely through the gear forged from what you gather from your prey.
What awaits you
- Tracking and observation — follow tracks, scratch marks and footprints with the guiding scoutflies before you even come across the target.
- Fourteen weapon types — great sword, dual blades, gunlance, hunting horn, bow, light bowgun... each with a radically different style.
- Long, readable fights — the confrontations last several minutes and rely on learning the monster's attacks more than on pure reflexes.
- Exploitable environments — natural traps, falling rocks, rival monsters you can lure so they fight each other.
- Co-op multiplayer — up to four hunters per quest, with an SOS flare system to call for help mid-game.
- Extensive customisation — decorations, skills, weapon upgrades and transmogrifiable appearance via layered armour.
