Kaspersky Total Security 2021 is the top-of-the-range suite of the former Kaspersky nomenclature, the one that precedes the Standard / Plus / Premium ranges. Beyond the antivirus and firewall of Internet Security, it adds file backup, parental controls and a password manager. The licence covers 1 PC for 1 year. This is an earlier version: the 2021 edition corresponds to this generation of the software, but the antivirus signature updates are provided for the entire duration of the licence. The worldwide label means the key is not restricted to a region: it can be activated from Switzerland just as from any other country.
What the protection includes
- Antivirus and anti-ransomware — real-time protection against viruses, Trojans, keyloggers and file-encrypting malware.
- Firewall and network monitoring — filters connections and alerts you when a Wi-Fi network is unsecured.
- Backup and encryption — scheduled copies of your important folders and an encrypted vault for sensitive documents.
- Password manager — stores and automatically fills in your credentials behind a master password.
Compatibility
Windows 10, 8.1, 8 and 7 (SP1) for the main computer; the macOS, Android and iOS modules belong to the same product family. 1.5 GB of disk space and an Internet connection are required.
