Jagged Alliance 3, developed by Haemimont Games, returns to the series' formula: you recruit a team of mercenaries, each with their personality, salary and skills, then you deploy them in the fictional country of Grand Chien, where the president has disappeared and where a paramilitary force holds the ground. The game combines a strategic map — sectors to control, mines to secure, militias to train, movements and rest to plan — with very detailed turn-based tactical combat.
What awaits you
- Mercenary recruitment — dozens of written and voiced profiles, with very different rates and characters, who interact with each other.
- Turn-based combat — action points, targeted aiming by body part, cover, interrupt fire and stealth before engagement.
- Strategic map — sectors to conquer and hold, mining revenue, training of local militias and time management.
- Weapons and modifications — maintenance, ammunition, parts to fit and equipment to repair in the field.
- Character progression — skills that rise with use, perks to choose and injuries that leave their mark.
- Co-operation — the campaign can be played with several people.
